La rivista Musica Antica è lo strumento culturale che Mauro Uberti, direttore dell'Istituto di Musica Antica di Pamparato, aveva dato fin dal 1981 all'Istituto stesso per diffondere i risultati delle ricerche svolte nella propria sede o comunque da esso promosse. La rivista cartacea era inviata in abbonamento gratuito a chiunque ne facesse richiesta, ma questo implicava che essa fosse stampata soltanto quando i mezzi economici lo consentivano. La pubblicazione su Internet permette ora di dare nuova diffusione ai numeri ormai esauriti e, comunque, di superare i limiti finanziari della rivista stessa.

The review Musica Antica (Early Music) is the cultural instrument that Mauro Uberti, director of the Institute of early music in Pamparato, had given to the Institute since 1981 to divulge the results of the researches carried out in that seat or anyhow promoted in the name of the Institute. The magazine was sent free subscription to anybody who requested it but this could be done only when the economics means allow to do it. The publication by Internet allows now to give a new circulation to the copies by then out of print and, anyhow, to overcome the financial limits of the review.
